📊 Understanding Stats

Your pet has several stats that determine its well-being. All stats range from 0 to 255.

🍽️ Sated (Red)

What it is: How well-fed your pet is.

How it changes: Decreases over time based on your pet's Athleticism trait. Higher Athleticism means slower decay.

How to increase: Feed your pet food items from your inventory.

Important: If Sated drops below 0, your pet's Health will decrease!

😊 Solaced (Green)

What it is: How happy and comforted your pet is.

How it changes: Decreases over time based on your pet's Discipline trait. Higher Discipline means slower decay.

How to increase: Play with toys or feed certain foods that increase Solaced.

Important: If Solaced drops below 0, your pet's Health will decrease!

📚 Edified (Blue)

What it is: How mentally stimulated your pet is.

How it changes: Decreases over time based on your pet's Intelligence trait. Higher Intelligence means slower decay.

How to increase: Play with toys or feed certain foods that increase Edified.

Important: If Edified drops below 0, your pet's Health will decrease!

⚡ Energy (Yellow)

What it is: Your pet's energy level needed for activities.

How it changes: Can increase when stats are high, but playing with toys consumes energy.

How to use: Required to play with toys. Each toy has an energy cost.

Tip: Keep your pet's stats high to maintain energy levels!

⚖️ Weight (Cyan)

What it is: Your pet's weight, with 128 being the ideal centerline.

How it changes: Increases when you feed your pet. Some foods increase weight more than others.

Goal: Try to keep weight around 128 (the centerline) for optimal health.

❤️ Health (Purple)

What it is: Your pet's overall health status.

How it decreases: Health decreases by 1 whenever any stat (Sated, Solaced, or Edified) drops below 0.

How it increases: Health increases by 1 when all stats (Sated, Solaced, Edified, and Energy) are above 1.

Critical: Health must be above 128 (half) for your pet to gain XP!

⭐ XP (Yellow)

What it is: Experience points that determine evolution.

How to gain: XP increases by 1 every heartbeat (1 second) when Health is above 128.

Important: This is the ONLY way to gain XP - keep your pet healthy!

Evolution: Evolution stages are based on XP thresholds, not traits.

💪 Understanding Traits

Traits determine how quickly your pet's stats decay. Higher traits mean slower decay!

🏃 Athleticism (Red)

What it does: Reduces the rate at which Sated decreases. Higher Athleticism = slower hunger.

How to increase: Play with toys that reward Athleticism. The reward is based on random rolls!

Range: 0-255

🎯 Discipline (Green)

What it does: Reduces the rate at which Solaced decreases. Higher Discipline = slower happiness decay.

How to increase: Play with toys that reward Discipline. The reward is based on random rolls!

Range: 0-255

🧠 Intelligence (Blue)

What it does: Reduces the rate at which Edified decreases. Higher Intelligence = slower mental decay.

How to increase: Play with toys that reward Intelligence. The reward is based on random rolls!

Range: 0-255

💡 Trait Tip: Your pet's background color is a combination of its three traits! The RGB values come from Athleticism (Red), Discipline (Green), and Intelligence (Blue). This creates a unique color for each pet based on their trait levels.

💓 The Heartbeat System

Your pet's stats change every second through a "heartbeat" system. Here's how it works:

Every Heartbeat (1 second):

  1. XP Check: If Health > 128, your pet gains 1 XP.
  2. Stat Decay: For each stat-trait pair:
    • A random roll (0-255) is generated
    • If the roll is higher than the trait value, the stat decreases by 1
    • If the roll is lower than the stat value, Energy increases by 1
  3. Health Check: If any stat dropped below 0, Health decreases by 1.
  4. Health Recovery: If all stats (Sated, Solaced, Edified, Energy) are above 1, Health increases by 1 (capped at 255).
⚠️ Offline Mode: When you're offline, heartbeats process 20x slower (0.05x speed). This means your pet's stats decay much slower, but you also gain XP much slower!

⚡ Metabolism

Metabolism determines how fast your pet's heartbeats process. Higher metabolism means faster stat changes and XP gain!

How Metabolism Works

Metabolism by Evolution Stage

Stage Name Metabolism Effect
0 🥚 Baby 1x Normal speed
1 🐣 Teen 1.5x 1.5x faster than Baby
2 🐔 Adult 2x 2x faster than Baby
3 🐲 Elder 2.5x 2.5x faster than Baby
4 🐉 Ancient 3x 3x faster than Baby
💡 Metabolism Tip: Higher metabolism means you need to check on your pet more frequently, but you'll also progress faster! Balance your care routine with your pet's metabolism rate.
⚠️ Metabolism Warning: As your pet evolves and metabolism increases, stats will decay faster. Make sure to feed and play with your pet regularly to keep up with the increased metabolism!

🌟 Evolution System

Your pet evolves based on XP, not traits! Each evolution stage has different XP requirements and metabolism rates.

🥚 Baby (Stage 0)

XP Required: 0 - 10,000 XP

Metabolism: 1x speed

Description: Your pet starts as a Baby. Take good care of it!

🐣 Teen (Stage 1)

XP Required: 10,000 - 100,000 XP

Metabolism: 1.5x speed

Description: Your pet has grown into a Teen! It's more active now.

🐔 Adult (Stage 2)

XP Required: 100,000 - 1,000,000 XP

Metabolism: 2x speed

Description: Your pet is now an Adult! It's fully grown and very active.

🐲 Elder (Stage 3)

XP Required: 1,000,000 - 10,000,000 XP

Metabolism: 2.5x speed

Description: Your pet has become an Elder! It's wise and powerful.

🐉 Ancient (Stage 4)

XP Required: 10,000,000 - 100,000,000 XP

Metabolism: 3x speed

Description: Your pet has reached Ancient status! It's a legendary creature.

🍎 Feeding & Playing

Feeding Your Pet

  1. Click on a food item in your inventory
  2. The food will immediately affect your pet's stats
  3. Food items are consumed when used
  4. Different foods have different effects on Sated, Solaced, Edified, and Weight

Playing with Your Pet

  1. Click on a toy item in your inventory
  2. Your pet must have enough Energy to play (check the toy's energy cost)
  3. Playing consumes energy and may grant trait rewards
  4. Trait rewards are based on random rolls - higher rolls = better rewards!
  5. Toys are consumed when used
⚠️ Energy Required: You cannot play with toys if your pet doesn't have enough energy! Make sure to keep your pet's stats high to maintain energy levels.
